Not getting any work done, as usual...
The artist and his Mews.
I've almost always had cats in my life...
Now, don't go jumping to conclusions. I also like dogs, and I like hamsters, and I've met a few birds that were fun to hang with, and our friends have some big ol' lizards that would be welcome in my home at any time.
But cats have always been something special. Maybe it's that streak of independence most of them have. If you can get a cat to even look in your direction, that's a huge acknowledgement. To have one become your friend and care about you, well, it's an even greater accomplishment, because you know they wouldn't be messing with you unless you had passed a few rigorous, secret cat tests.
Not to mention that I find cats beautiful, elegant, and mysterious little critters that I enjoy having around my house. Even if they do keep me from working far too much. But, I'll make the sacrfice...

If you stop touching me, I will be very unhappy, and neither of us want to see that, do we?
Why I don't get more done. Part I
Try to touch that mouse. Go ahead, I dare you.
