The natural fluidity of the forms and lines of my work in the Argent Park style has always called to mind a sense of movement and flow, so it seemed only right that, in my exploration of natural forms translated into the Argent, that I should delve into variations of the form of the butterfly. With the almost infinite variations of body shapes and markings in the real world among butterflies, I hope to be able to add to that bounty with an equally wide-ranging array of designs in my own Argent Park variations, including this "Floating Bubble", a mix of sensuous rounded curves and spheres. This is a limited-edition print, each copy signed & numbered by the artist. It is created from a film negative made directly from the original artwork, then retouched by the artist, and printed by offset lithography on Cougar Opaque 65# paper stock. Mounting and matting materials are either low-acid or acid-free. To maintain the quality of this work, do not display it where it will be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, or to extremes of temperature or humidity. I also recommend that you look at it once it is up on your wall (at least six times a week is considered the minimum), or else it will get sad and lonely, and the tear-stains will make it look less attractive.
