Balloons are a major mode of transportation in Charwhimble Valley, and balloon racing is a major source of fun as well. But Ms. Miriam, the town's resident inventor, had always felt things moved a bit slowly for something called a "race". She decided to set her mind to designing a way of speeding things up, but without using anything artificially powered, which would be against the rules. For this year's big annual Wendall's Day Race, she recruited Antoinette as her navigator, and Sebastian to act as the "motor" for her balloon. (Of course, when Little Bit heard his best friends would be in the race, he assigned himself the job of "Captain".) Everyone was surprised to find that Muffy Topper had stowed away for the ride, but when Sidney (from the "S. Sparrow Speedy Messenger Service") flew alongside to deliver an important message from Hobbsbobble the wizard, they knew that Muffy had turned this into the most important race they had ever been in. (But you'll have to wait for the full story of this adventure to be revealed later!)

--Info on the printing process, plus care & feeding instructions--
This is a limited-edition print, each copy signed & numbered by the artist. It is created from a film negative made directly from the original artwork, then retouched by the artist, and printed by offset lithography on Starwhite Cover paper stock. Mounting and matting materials are either low-acid or acid-free. To maintain the quality of this work, do not display it where it will be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, or to extremes of temperature or humidity. I also recommend that you look at it once it is up on your wall (at least six times a week is considered the minimum), or else it will get sad and lonely, and the tear-stains will make it look less attractive.
