Opening ceremonies at the Wizard Olympics features the All-Wizard Spelling Bee, where competitors can strut their stuff in an exhibition of style. As an apprentice, Sebastian is not able to compete in the actual games, but he is thrilled to join in with the more seasoned pros in this flashy ceremony. He's giving it his best shot, slowly building a simple but elegant spell- it's not the size, but the intricacy of the visual aspect of the spell that counts, the careful building of a bit of beautiful magic. At top here is master magician Hobbsbobble, weaving his own spell, while Theopoluss, Tynethia, and Invorenne gesture up their own glowing creations. (Note the importance of not only finger placement, but tongue extension in the casting of a good spell!)

This is a limited-edition print, each copy signed & numbered by the artist. It is created from a film negative made directly from the original artwork, then retouched by the artist, and printed by offset lithography on Cougar-white paper stock. Mounting and matting materials are either low-acid or acid-free. To maintain the quality of this work, do not display it where it will be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, or to extremes of temperature or humidity. I also recommend that you look at it once it is up on your wall (at least six times a week is considered the minimum), or else it will get sad and lonely, and the tear-stains will make it look less attractive.
